RS VAREO 2015 CALENDAR OUT HERE NOW!

I've now finalised your RS Vareo 2015 calendar.  I hope this helps you organise all your family and friends to plan their lives on dates that do not clash with your RS Vareo sailing!  

We can now look forward to an exciting 2015 Grand Prix with 6 events spread around the country with the aim of enticing even more of you to pack your boat up and travel to race your fellow RS Vareos at great open meetings.  2 events to count out of 6.  You must be an RS Class Association member to be eligible for the Grand Prix. Thanks to LDC for giving a generous prize to 2014 RS Vareo Grand Prix Champion Richard Willows.  

The Nationals is set to be a cracker at Aberdovey from Dovey YC.  

I've just secured Gul sponsorship for your Inlands.  Some good prizes going there!

Close your fleet racing year with a fun End of Season champs at Datchet WSC.

2015 RS Vareo UPDATE

Welcome to an exciting year of RS Vareo sailing fun!

The first RS Vareo event of 2015 will be your Winter Championship held at Grafham Water SC 14-15 March.  Stick the date in your diary.  More details to follow. Let's build on last year's successful usage of the Intend to Race Button found at the bottom of your event page.  By clicking the button you are not entering the event but merely letting your friends know that you are game enough to race.  This should encourage them to challenge you and enter themselves.  Clubs monitor the page to see how entries are going and to help them plan for a better event.

I am busy working on your Nationals with your Chair and the team at Dovey YC for 9-12 July 15.   This is a joint event with the RS300s.  Don't worry if you haven't booked your accommodation yet.  There is plenty within stumbling distance of the club.  The campsite is but a short bike ride away.
